My Story

Vicki Paulas

To say that I’m passionate about all things wild is an understatement. I am an outdoor educator, photographer and habitat restoration specialist and have dedicated the last 25 years to teaching the next generation of environmental stewards. During my career, I have shared my knowledge and enthusiasm about wildlife with over half a million students of all ages.

Growing up in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, I developed a deep appreciation for nature -- especially furry mammals. It was this early love of animals and playing in the rocky forests and streams that inspired me to enter into the world of wildlife conservation.

Currently, I work on projects in the Chesapeake Bay area that focus on restoring oysters, protecting shorelines and preserving habitats for various species. In my free time, you’ll find me traveling and exploring nature via kayaking, scuba diving, hiking and biking. To check out my photography, follow me on Instagram.

If you are not filled with overflowing love, compassion and goodwill for all creatures living wild in nature, you will never know true happiness.
